Today Is National Boss Day 2013

Today is National Boss Day.  Started in 1958, National Boss Day is a day where employees show their appreciation to their bosses across the United States.

A boss comes in several forms - it could be the founder of a Fortune 500 company or a previous co-worker who just got the promotion that you were also hoping to win.  For small businesses, it is not uncommon to have two bosses in the form of husband and wife co-owners.

And before you think your boss is terrible - think about this:  If last year's election had gone the other way, around 400 Brevard County Clerk of Court employees would be calling Mitch Needelman their boss today rather than Scott Ellis.
